Toronto Hydro TelecomÂ’s Dark Fibre service provides our Carrier and Enterprise customers with leased strands of fibre optic cable to build transport networks between locations on our fibre network.
Dark Fibre customers have the option to install and manage their own optical equipment to transport data at whatever speed desired.
Our fibre optic network is one of the most extensive in Toronto, connecting over 440 major business buildings.
The network is also interconnected with most major carrier networks in and around the city.
No Speed Limits: Leverage our fibre optic cable network to its full capacity without any sharing or limitation.
Optional Diversity: You have the option to lease fibre pairs on common or diverse routes to build redundancy and/or diversity into your network.
Fast Provisioning: We have one of the shortest provisioning cycles in the industry. This helps to minimize your set-up time and maximize the return on your investment.
Private & Secure: Toronto Hydro Telecom Dark Fibre is a physically dedicated point-to-point service and is therefore inherently secure.
Service Excellence 24/7/365: Around-the-clock customer support with technical staff who are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through our Carrier Class, Network Operations Centre.
