While Toronto Hydro Telecom may be a relatively new telecom company, our handpicked team has a long history of telecom experience. You'll find our staff has excellent technical skills combined with a strong service orientation and solid track record of achieving progressive results.

Dave Dobbin, President, Toronto Hydro Telecom Inc.
Dave is responsible for leading the market growth and development of Toronto Hydro Telecom Inc., with operational responsibilities for business strategy, sales and marketing, network operations, services creation and customer care.

Dave has extensive knowledge of the telecommunications industry in Canada. In recent years, Dave has provided strategic counsel to carriers and large corporations in Canada and internationally on projects related to telecom network construction and optimization. He has been instrumental in assisting a large number of municipal electric utilities in Ontario enter the telecom business.

Prior to joining Toronto Hydro Telecom, Dave was the Chief Operating Officer of Telecom Ottawa where he created a successful telecommunications subsidiary for Hydro Ottawa Holdings Inc. Prior to this, he was Project executive at Hydro One Telecom/SCBN where he managed the successful start-up of Municipal Area Networks and Wide Area Networks in Southern Ontario, as well as Vice-President of Operations at BDO Watson/Watson & Associates.

Ian Collins, Vice President of Operations
In his role as Vice President, Operations, Ian is responsible for leading the technical direction, planning, construction and maintenance of the Toronto Hydro Telecom fibre based network. In addition, Ian oversees both Customer Care and Information Technology for the Company.

Ian brings over 20 years experience, technical knowledge and industry expertise to his position including, most recently, serving as President of Fibrewired Hamilton, where he successfully launched and maintained profitability for the telecommunications unit of the Hamilton Utilities Corporation.

In addition to playing a significant role within many complex technological projects and achieving many milestones throughout his career, Ian also serves as Chairman of the United Telecom Council Canada Board of Directors.

Michael Andreola, Vice President, Enterprise Sales
In his role as Vice President, Enterprise Sales, Michael is responsible for developing strategic sales programs and strategies. Working directly with the sales team and Toronto Hydro Telecom customers, Michael oversees the overall Enterprise market development for the Company.

Michael brings over 20 years experience in the telecommunications industry to his position and has held several senior level positions with major national telecom carriers, most recently serving as Ontario Regional Sales Manager for Bell Conferencing Inc. Prior to Bell, Michael lead a successful team as General Manager at GT Group Telecom/360 Networks.

Sharyn Gravelle, Vice President Wireless
Responsible for the development, deployment and maintenance of Toronto Hydro Telecom's WiFi network, Sharyn brings 17 years of experience within the engineering fields of the cellular operator environment to her position.

Most recently Sharyn served as Director, Network Operations for Microcell Solutions Inc. where she was responsible for the execution of corporate plans and the maintainence of standards for the company.

Sharyn holds a degree in Civil Engineering and is a member of both the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario and the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.
